Biography

Founded in 2020, Flowest Swap Meet is the brainchild of Ariel (Arrow) Jimenez-Lawson. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Arrow creates art as an embodiment of her spirituality, faith, and road to enlightenment. Her art serves as a means to address internal harmony and conflicts around the subject of introspection. The acceptance of dualities is a prominent theme frequently seen in her artwork. Arrow enjoys combining fashion and contemporary art as the vehicle for her ideas. When not creating art, she executes apparel product development and technical design for Adidas and other clients.

What is Flowest Swap Meet?

Though started by one individual, Flowest Swap Meet is not a singular person. Flowest Swap Meet is an invitation/meeting point; a design studio for artists traversing similar paths of the journey of self-awareness, integrity, grace, forgiveness, and understanding. With the goal of branching into a collaborative design space, Flowest Swap Meet is its namesake as a swap meet for artists to connect and create art and perspectives centered around the journey to know oneself.
